Introduction

We have owned Samoyeds since 1978, first as pets and then a period when we exhibited them. In the process, we titled six Australian Champions, including Best In Show winners at All Breeds Shows.  Our Stock are Hip Scored and all scores are very good.

We sell puppies all over Australia for pet and show.  We also export overseas to happy owners having great success in the show ring.  We now have several pups winning overseas, including a recent Best Baby In Show in Shanghai.

Litters arrived in July 08

We have a litter born on 24/7/08 and 31/7/08

Sire is an Aust champion and winner of last National champ show, Aust Ch Silvertips walk n th wild side (imp NZ) who is the son of Ch Snerzok Strike Chaser.  Both dams are sired by our Aust Champ Kimskova Top of Class who like his mother is an all breeds best in show winner.

Our pups always have nice thick stand off coats and very nice heads. Are raised in our family room so are used to people, children, cats and all the other animals we have collected.

We already have orders in Hawaii and Aust. and have sent previous pups to all states in Australia to happy homes. Contact us if you have any questions or want to view our new puppies either here or online.

Description

The Samoyed is one of the oldest breeds of dogs known to man.  They took their name form the Samoyede tribe who were nomadic hunters in Siberia. The dogs were used to hunt, herd and guard the tribe and family. At night it was common for the dogs to sleep with the tribe in their tents for warmth. This of course forged a close bond that is still evident today ... the Samoyed's favourite spot is right by their owner's side, day and night.

The Samoyed is said to carry the spirit of Christmas with it the whole year round, especially when they display their infectious smile.  Samoyeds do not have the doggy smell most breeds do and are non-allergenic.  Their white coat can stay looking clean even when running through winter mud.  In fact, we live on a rural property and our dogs do not require bathing more than once or twice a year.  The “silver tips” and oil in their coat often require no more than a brush when a muddied dog is dry.  Powder can be sprinkled in their coat to bring it up looking clean.  We usually go over them with a hot towel and powder bath before a show.

Samoyeds are a thinking dog and the more human contact they have, the more they learn from this association.  We have had some that will eagerly wait at the front door at exactly the same time every day, if an arrival home is consistent.

A Samoyed is usually loyal and obedient.  Our children have grown up with our dogs, with never a hint of a temperament problem.  Our children have pulled fur & tails, and "ridden" them without a single incident.  (This is our experience only and is not a recommendation.)  The amount of interaction with people and reinforcement of acceptable behaviour enhance the intelligence of a dog, and you need to teach them what they are (and aren't) allowed to do, just as you would teach your child.

There is no greater pleasure than to have a well-behaved, well-groomed Samoyed by your side, with their friendly smiling face and happy attitude.
